Discover 3D was born from a passion for design and creation, after years of cad design experience over hundreds of projects it was time to branch out into 3D scanning to take our designs to the next level! Well after talking with suppliers about scanners we somehow ended up with our first 3D printer as well as our scanner we originally reached out for.

That was were it all took a turn, with our 2 young children in the house we were soon 3D printing all sorts of trinkets, toys and fidgets for them... then their friends wanted some, then their friends friends wanted some and soon enough one printer wasn't enough. It feels like we went from one printer to a small print farm overnight thanks to all of the toys and fun stuff we were selling.

Overall our business has gone from mainly small scale industrial design and prototyping to printing and creating random kids toys and fidgets, we couldn't be happier though as it certainly keeps us on our toes and really brings a happy vibe to the already enjoyable 3D printing.

This all leads us to where we are right now... Typing an about us page on a laptop at 10pm on the couch while listening to the kids watching minecraft videos in the background.

In all seriousness though we are stoked to be launching our online store and expanding our reach, we look forward to providing our online customers with the same quirky quality products our locals have come to love and collect... We will still be offering design and prototyping for products and functional items also so don't hesitate to reach out!
